  About Caversham Heath Golf Club Nestling on the borders of Berkshire and Oxfordshire, near Reading, in the grounds of the historic Mapledurham Estate, lies Caversham Heath Golf Club. The Course The 18-hole golf course, designed by David Williams, affords excellent year round play to Members and visitors alike. The course, built to exacting USGA standards, is unusually dry in winter whilst fully irrigated in summer, and therefore offers dependable year round play in the Reading, Berkshire and Oxfordshire area. The golf course has matured well, and rewards golfers of all levels, from complete novice to a low handicap golfer. You will all enjoy playing your golf in a breathtakingly beautiful heathland setting. Pre Championship Qualifying Events Missed your chance to enter the 2012 Trilby Tour, or just fancy another shot? Well here is your ticket into one of the regional championships. Cavasham Heath will be holding Pre Championship Qualifying Events to win a place in their Regional Championship. Entry into the 2012 tour is now FULL, however should you win an event, the world is your oyster! Trilby Tour players are welcome to enter the Pre Championship Qualifying Events if they wish to have a chance in winning an entry into an additional Regional Championship. The Pre Championship Qualifying Events are open events and welcome non Trilby Tour members. You can enter as many Pre Championship Qualifying Events as you wish! In each competition the field will compete for the one slot available in a Regional Championship Event, the top score wins a full entry including a complete William Hunt outfit and bespoke Callaway Golf Bag. Please note the qualifying events are hosted by the clubs and are not Trilby Tour televised events. Please see the Caversham Heath event details below.

Caversham Heath Golf Club, Mapledurham, Reading, RG4 7UT. Tel. 0118 947 8600 Directions from the M4 Leave junction 11 of the M4 and head towards Reading centre (A33). After 4 - 5 miles you will reach Reading centre (A33). Head for Caversham still down the A33 bearing left on the round about past TGI Fridays and towards the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Head straight over the roundabout, taking you over Caversham Bridge. Stay in the left lane over the bridge and turn left at the lights. This will take you up St Peters Hill (A4074) towards Oxford and Woodcote. Travel for another 2 miles or so and you will see a Caversham Heath Golf Club sign on your left. Take the next turning left (opposite the Pack Saddle pub). Travel for 250 yards and you will be at Caversham Heath's entrance.
Directions from Oxford Travel down the A4074 towards Reading passing Wallingford and surrounding towns. This will lead you towards the outskirts of Reading and Caversham. 3 miles before entering Caversham, you will pass The Fox pub to your left and a further mile down the road you will pass Pack Horse pub, also to your left. Carry on for a further 1/2 mile or so and you will arrive at the Pack Saddle pub, also to your left. Opposite this pub there is a turning right, sign posted Mapledurham House and Water Mill and Caversham Heath Golf Club. Follow this road for approx 250 yards and you will be at Caversham Heath's entrance.
