| Deadly Face No.6 'Billy the Kid' |
| Opinion |
He's a law unto himself - meet Billy the Kid6. Billy the Kid - Step aside for the new young blood in townBilly turns up with his pa as they clamber out of their faithful station-wagon but straightaway Billy makes his presence known to the locals. His teenage cockiness screams out at 100 decibels as soon as he steps into the clubhouse - he's wearing aviator shades on a cloudy day, boasts tinted spiked hair, a freshly topped up spray tan that positively shouts Ibiza stallion and a gold chain that wouldn't look out of place in a US gangsta-rap video. Billy's treating the Trilby Tour as a showcase event - they didn't call it the most stylish tournament for nothing. He dreams of being the new Tom Lewis - and already sees himself as a pro in the making. He's got some moves that could teach his old pa a lesson or two but his pa's only good for carrying his clubs. Billy's got youth and blind ambition on his side. He wishes the oldies would step aside and let the young blood through. He almost wavers on the first tee but he keeps a stiff upper lip. He's got a rep to protect and his homies are going to be watching this later on Sky Sports. The kid's good but is he as good as he thinks he is?...
