Deadly Face No.4 'Connor the Crammer'
Opinion

Meet Connor the Crammer. Intense and last-minute - that's his golfing style...

4. Connor the Crammer - he knows the course inside out

Connor has spent the past three months leading up to the TT with golf information overload.

Now this is it - the time for all the books, all the studying, all the hours spent at the driving range, the cramming in rounds around his work day - this is the time for it all to finally pay off.

So what if the bank-balance isn't looking as rosy as a few months ago? It'll all be worth it if he can pull it off, even Connor's wife will forgive him for all those evening and weekends spent on the course rather than going shopping or spending time together.

What had begun as a crazy dream was becoming a reality and the pressure is starting to grip hard.

Three or four rounds a year has turned into five rounds a week, the TT has taken over his life and there's no way back now...
