My TT Story – One Life - Live itName: Luke WashbourneAge: 24 Regional Championship entered: Frilford Heath Handicap: 5 Golf Club: Tadmarton Heath Caddy: Mr Washbourne Senior Occupation: Delivery driver for Tescos History: First time Motto: One Life – Live it
A bad car accident six years ago saw me hospitalized with concussion and back injuries. I lost all confidence and gave up golf but seeing the Trilby Tour on Sky Sports made me decide to give it another shot. I have a saying in life which is 'one life live it.'
This is the first time I have entered the Trilby Tour - I can't wait and will have my dad caddying for me. I have entered to obviously try and win – I know it's going to be hard but I will give it my best shot!
I've only been playing golf for 8 years and took to it very quickly getting my handicap down to 12 without any lessons. My golfing ambitions is to continue lowering my handicap and maybe even turning pro in the next few years.
