I played in the Rockliffe event last week and it was fantastic. The organisation and professionalism on the day was wonderful. As my job is a football referee and I referee in front of 50,000 regularly. I’ve never been so nervous on the first tee in my life. I Would also like to say a big thank you to the photographers who were excellent. Looking forward to next year. Well done again

"Look forward to next year"

I played in the trilby tour at Rockcliffe Hall and had a great day the course was great and the way it is run is perfect, that was my second trilby and look forward to next year to see if i can qualify for the finals and also hope that Scotland gets a venue next year if not i would go back to Rockcliffe Hall again. We stayed in the hotel and the rate they gave us for trilby was very good and i would go back and stay in the hotel apart from playing in the trilby.

It was my 1st Trilby Tour experience and to be honest  ( been involved for over 40 yrs now in golf , plus last 10 with Lancashire Golf with last 2 with England & the R & A golf ! ) your event is top class ! , the venue Rockliffe Hall is one of the best courses I’ve ever played! and only just over 2 yrs. old ! , fantastic ! , everyone at the event couldn’t do enough for you , I even had a chat with William! He was very nice & genuine and interested in things! , I struggled to get in with my very busy schedule but if I can make any of next year’s events I will ! , kind regards to all & keep up the great work !

"Absolutely Bloody Awesome!!!!"

I played at Rockliffe Hall in the North East last Thursday, June 30th. My playing partners were Ben Lowery (green keeper at the KP club) and a local lad Tom Weir. Tom qualified to the finals. Great day and great company! The Trilby team were fantastic from the moment I arrived and I was early and nervous. So well organised. I even met William, what a character he is. After the starter, cameras and pressure all gone now I reckon I'll be able to tee off anywhere and in front of anyone!

I have played a lot of scratch events and pro ams etc but nothing compares to the day I had at Rockliffe Hall in the Trilby Tour I was expertly organized, unfortunately I didn’t play my best golf but I will defiantly be entering again next year to have another go at it. "The greatest golfing day of my life"

I played Bearwood Lakes and it was the greatest golfing day of my life. From getting out of the car at 6.15am and meeting William Hunt in the car park to making a par on the last. I play lots of golf tournaments outside of my club and this is without doubt, by a long way, the best. The registration was easy, collecting the bag, caddy suit etc.

The 1st tee was unbelievable, TV camera man, stills camera man, my name being announced and the crowd clapping.............and then launching the best drive of my life down the 1st!!! I will remember that for a long time.

As I have mentioned, great 1st tee shot and a par at the last, the rest of my golf was a nightmare (12 points don't mention it to anyone, I'm not), can't wait for next year.

Any ideas for improvement? Can't think of anything, great competition, great day and it will not be forgotten.

Superb day. Great organisation. Beautiful Course in the beat possible condition. Tremendous fellow competitors played in a great spirit. Made some good friends. Most importantly without all your sponsors and the effort put in by your good selves, nothing would have been possible. Once again a BIG THANKYOU from the lucky so and so who chipped in on the play off to get into the final.

Just wanted to send you a note to say a huge thank you to you all for a fabulous event/day/experience on Monday in Druids Glen. Unfortunately my golf didn't match the setting, the clothes and the atmosphere but it was a great experience. I am already looking forward to next year and my prediction is that you will need to run more than one event in Ireland next year. Hope the rest of the events go well and I will be following it on the web.

"Treated like royalty for a day"

Hi, had a fabulous day London Club on Tuesday, absolutely superb! Gave us mere mortals an idea of how the pros are treated. Great course in first class condition and what can I say about the Trilby Tour staff, they all knew what they were talking about (most unusual in any golf club) and were extremly helpful, friendly and not condescending. We were treated like royalty for a day.
