well had a great time at trevose was looking forward to the photos but found them poor only one with myself in and it was the worst ive seen wont be buying one from this year i know they cant get thousands of photos but surely they take more than one of you and if thats the best of me im obviously not photo genic lol

Great experience at Trevose. Well organised. Thank you to William and the whole of the Trilby Tour organisers. Many thanks to all at Trevose, too. Managed to get on to the scoreboard which was a thrill, but unfortunately couldn't hang on in there. If only I'd listened to my caddie, at times! Thank you to my two playing partners Brian and Alistair, and their caddies and friends, too. Both Bill and myself really enjoyed your company and the day. See you next year, all being well!

Can't put into words how good yesterday was, only 1 problem they need paramedics on the first tee, still don't know how I got that ball on the tee let alone hit it. Great day great 3 ball. Definitely hooked for like well done to everybody involved.....

Trevose 2012 has officially kicked off the 2012 Trilby Tour. Im grateful to WH who allowed me to hit the 1st tee shot of this years TT, a great honour to celebrate my 47th birthday. The TT has a new registration girl in Jenna who did a great job today for her first event and wish her the best. As for the rest of the TT team they again made the event run smoothly like WH's brakeless Porsche!!!!! It was great to meet the players ive had some banter on here with and to WH himself thanks again and see you soon for more ribbing. Oh as for the scores and results................tune in to sky sports in October. ;)

I woke up this morning and heard a disturbing sound. What I heard was the jingle jangle of a 1000 lost souls.....or at least I thought it was and then realised it was actually the Trily Tourarians who are playing at Trevose praying for this weather to relent or at least ease a little!!!! Played Trevose today. Beautiful course. Quick question for Mr Hunt, if it is as windy on 3rd of May as it was today,will we be issued with special TT double sided tape to keep our hats on?

Really looking forward to being at Trevose this year (virgin), which must mean that I am slightly masochistic as I had my first round at the weekend for 5 weeks - so look out for the ridicule from my playing partners on the day!
Seems like it might be a bit of a party atmosphere which is also a problem for me - better not get there the night before or else I might not make the tee at 7.40 ( thanks whoever organised that.
My club mates are convinced that if we make the TV people will think that they have tuned into Gorillas in the mist, due to the 'rugged' appearance of my caddie - so see if you can spot us.

Barrie, don't bother yourself and lie in. The William Hunt I'm playing with is 6"4 and 30yrs young...no 40yrs younger ...(snigger) then the one who's got me off at 7:20 in the fricking morning........... 4:30 start on my birthday how nice is that?? Well 2 weeks tomorrow and the knees will be twitching, ass will be nibbling grass on the 1st tee of Trevose, all we need now is the eagerly awaited tee times!!! Golf balls arrived, clothes adjusted and new TT shorts made from the off cuts!!! Cannot wait to get down there on Tues 2nd for a practice and a pint and then the big day on the 3rd. Hope you are all ready to grip and rip it all over the dunes!! Anyone been down to Trevose recently? Sincerely hope they're still serving the Rattler too!!!! Best of British to one and all!!

Well the clothes and belt arrived today so it's officially TT time from here on in!!! Cannot wait to get on the road with Luigi and on the way to Trevose on the 2nd. Practice round at 14.28 on the course and maybe a few pratice rounds in the bar afterwards too!!!

Well 36 days until the TT at Trevose, cannot wait and hope the weather is as good as it is today!! Also hope the clothes get here soon so I can get the strides taken up in time!! Has anyone had their clothes delivered yet? Better get the bats out and dust them off too as it has been a while since my last thrash about, playing Saturday in Westy's Captains drive in so we'll see what shape the swing is in. Hope it doesn't have too many Furykesque movements!!! See you all on the 2/3rd May!!!!!!! Good luck to all too!!!

i played lundin links golf club on the east coast of scotland just down from st andrews monday gone. amazing. weather was gourgous if you get the chance play it. great course . good practice for trevose being a links couse

Trevose strokesaver yardage book available free to a good home.hi I played at Trevose in 2011 TT event and have a yardage book for the course which I purchased from the pro shop. Don't need it as playing the Bucks this year. So if you want it I will post it to you free of charge

Competition Rules and Format
- Stableford format, ¾ handicap allowance.
- At the end of 18 holes the best 4 scores will play a 3 hole play off (winner takes all). Should there be a tie for the 4th qualifying place there will be a 1 shot nearest the pin shoot out. There will also be a shoot out for 10th qualifying place should there be a tie.
- It is your responsibility to make sure you are present and available to participate in any play off (if required), failure to do so will lead to you forfeiting your place in the play off.
- You are required to arrive at the club and be registered at least 1 hour before your - allocated tee time, failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
- Please see click here for info regarding Handicap regulations
- At registration you are required to provide a handicap certificate signed by your clubs secretary that is no older than 14 days. If you do not provide proof of your handicap you will not be able to play on the day. This rule will also be applicable at the Trilby Tour Finals where a current certificate will be required.
- You are required to be on the 1st tee 20 minutes before your allocated tee time, failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
- Slow play will be penalised. 1st offence will be a warning, 2nd offence will lead to disqualification. You and your playing partners are responsible for maintaining your pace of play and keeping up with the group ahead, failure to do so is punishable.
- You are required to wear/use all William Hunt clothing and Trilby Tour/Callaway equipment provided. This includes your William Hunt golf shirt, William Hunt trousers, belt, hat, caddie outfit, caddie hat and Callaway bag. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
- Rain wear is permitted if needed however you will not feature on the programme whilst wearing it.
- It is your responsibility to supply your own caddie who must wear the caddie outfit and hat provided at all times. Your caddie must over 16 years of age (on the day of the event) and be able to carry the Trilby Tour/Callaway golf bag unassisted; golf buggies and trolleys are strictly not permitted. You will not be able to play without a caddy. Trilby Tour has no responsibility to provide you with a caddie. It is not the clubs responsibility to provide you with a caddie however they may be able to assist you with finding one. You are advised to contact the hosting club well in advance of the tournament.
- Range finders, GPS measuring devices and other electronic aids are not to be used at any time during Trilby Tour events. Anyone found to be in breach of this will be disqualified instantly.
- The R&A rules of golf and golf etiquette are applicable at all William Hunt Trilby Tour events. Anyone found to be in breach of these will be penalised appropriately.
The winner and 9 runners up will be invited to compete in the William Hunt Trilby Tour International Amateur Final on the 16th August.
On the day of the tournament in case of an emergency and you are unable to attend the event you must contact us as soon as possible, the following number will only be available on the day before the tournament and day of the tournament 07842284591 – if you cannot reach us on this number we recommend you contact the hosting club and leave a message for the trilby tour team, leave your name tee time and a short message.
