Play my first round singles this Thursday...gonna be tough - drawn against a mate from y own club so no home advantage there then!! He is playing well and I'm not so will be hoping for an inspired display - bit like Wigan v Man City!!!

Won my first round Matchplay against Peter Gabriel ,tough conditions with the wind and rain,and both our game suffer"d a bit. Peter was great company and a really good golfer. Can't wait for next round,hopefully weather will be better :-)

Hi Guys, how is all the practice and preparation going for your big day. Weather now warm, and makes you want to get out there and play. Good luck to you all and most of all, enjoy the day, as William Hunt makes you feel proud to be part of the Trilby Tour.

Driver shortened to 44" and feels sooooo much better, more control and a lot more solid feeling and more centre hits off the face. Now I can attack my driver harder and be more consistent.

Outfit came today and i must say bravo Mr hunt..... outfit is top quality ...... Loving my orange trousers..... Makes me fee like a tour pro..!! Now just got to play like one ......!!! come one worsley park...... 4 weeks to go... Whoooohooo.!!!!

Just 35 days to go - the TT is nearly here, another explosion into the world of amateur golf and the hopes and dreams of 1,000 + golfers will be made or broken on the fairways and greens...its getting close and the excitement is building! The TT outfits starting to arrive, practice rounds being booked, qualifiers being played, Trilby Tourians popping up on driving ranges honing their games! Emenim's 8mile comes to mind..one shot!!!! St Pierre beckons, 4th July, look out Wales the TT is coming to getcha!!!! :)

hi guys for just a heads up for those in the tour for the first time read the rules before and on the day dont get caught out you must be on the tee 20 mins before your tee time other wise you will be disqualified and if you think you wont ask those in my first two years who did get disqualified for not being on the tee and no refunds there is no excuse its in the rules and is made quite clear have a good time and enjoy i know i will yet again rockcliffe park here i come

clothing ordered took a while to go through but it added to my nervousness. Gone for the Tiger look black trousers red top tried to get a different top but didn't have my size. Just hope I play like the world no1.

David, thats 3 more rounds than me in 2013.....now playing millionaires golf at about £300 a round! Hoping things will improve weather wise over next few weeks and need to get some much needed practise & play.......

Managed ony my third round this year today - damn cold at 2* and our course is still very wet so struggled abit - but good to be playing and definitely need the practice! Looking forward to the TT kicking in with choosing clothes and dates for matchplay dates coming out soon!Only 66 days til the first Championship and then its all systems go!!!! Bring on some warm spring weather!! :)

I think the choice of tops is improved (thank you William) but I am a bit concerned with the trouser options - only because the descriptions are not describing anything!! The colour needs to be specified - although saying that, last year my 'red tartan check' was much more of a purple!
Belt looks good, pity the hats are not shown!

wonder what the bags are gonna be like this year last years was great havent used it since to good to use lol give us a clue william an the colour for this year pleaseeee

bit cheesed off with the trilby tour team this year sent a couple of e mails in the last 10 days and not had one reply to my questions i dont mind ive missed this years tour through no fault of my own but im still in the matchplay singles and pairs so come on william at least get the staff to reply to e mails even if they are bad news it commons decency good luck to all those who got in especially mr marshall

Nice 2nd place in the Winter league closing comp so maybe them cold nights on the range are paying off!
Played with the guy who won, he shot 22 points on front nine playing off 4 h'cap, was a pleasure to watch and try and hang on to his coat tails!

Been on the range this morning, and hitting the ball a dream............... then i woke up...lol

So on a cold Northern Thursday night I had another lesson, pro given me loads to work on but shouldn't be surprised when my last name rhymes with "Hacker" and I know I have the same swing length and dietician as John Daley!
So much practise so little time!

need all the practice i can get at the moment,,my short game is awful !!
Need to get it sharp if i am to make top 4 again this year,and hopfully two places better at the end!!!
But we all know you can play like sevvy one day,and a hacker the next,,,just hope the golfing gods are smileing on me on july 4th!! but even if they arent,i"m gonna av a blast,as i always do,in the most thrilling event out there,,the one and only TT

Well guys, the golf has come to another grinding holt with this crap weather. What are you all hoping to acheive in this the 2013 season. My aim is to try and loose another 2 shots of my handicap by the end of the year, and secondly, score loads of points to qualify for the TT finals. WH i really have the bug for your tournament.

Ian i am good how are you , after the TT i went back to the driving range to get rid of the hooks and shanks all over the rest of the year lol and to top it all they have made me Captain of the club . It will be great to meet up with you and the gang this year

Had to laugh yesterday afternoon...decided that dispite the weather had to get some prcatice in so went to the range at Ufford Park and endured 2 hours in the freezing cold...jumped in the car and put the heating on full...looked up to see my playing partner from last year at Foxhills!! Amazing and we had a good chat looking forward to this year etc etc - thats what the TT does well...great to meet new golfers and share the memories past and dreams to come - hopefully!!! Nice one Jason - see you at Sprowston Manor!!!! :)

Disappointed to find out that the shirts that have been the signature of WH branding and part of the TT from the start, are no more because of players complaints saying they were TOO hot in them from last year!! It could be cotton,nylon and good ole polyester.... Thanks boys....... Why not complain about the woollen trousers too, maybe we could all wear shorts next year and hell lets get the baseball cap back to boot.......

Well have to confess to not being exactly bowled over by the new clothing designs...lots of strips and stuff..less is more on a shirt but i will reserve judgement - just hope the short sleeves aren't so short!!Hoping for a good trilby choice this year!!! Please WH :(
