Hi there Trilby Tour members
I am a very keen golfer who has decided to play more golf this year and get my handicap down (currently 9).
I now work for a regional communications company called OneStream after spending many years in professional football - both on and off the pitch.
I am married to Susan and have 2 kids, Melissa (18) and Angus (14). Susan is also a keen golfer and plays off 27, we are both members of Barnham Broom Golf & Country Club.
I actually opened the "new" course at the Marriott Sprowston a few years ago with Talksport's Alan Brazil - he took the money, I took the membership!! Also held the course record (84) as I was 1st to start and finish, it was only for 30 seconds as the Director of Golf for Marriott Hotels shot 75, not sure what it is now!
Looking forward to a great day there on the 6th July.
I watched the tour on TV last year and after meeting William Hunt at a golf day in Manchester decided to enter.
The only problem being I'm not sure if all the trendy WH gear will suit me.
See you all in Norwich next month.
