The entries had to be in this morning around 9am the draw will be done as soon as they've completed the draw so hopefully be this week sometime how do people know there playing at home if the draw hasn't been done yet?

I'm at home also but don't know who against? it'll be a trek for most to sunny north Wales

Hi everyone, this is my first time playing the trilby this year. Any tips from anyone would be much appreciated. I played a practice round 4 weeks ago and the course and greens were in poor condition and by the sounds of it there has been no change. I was looking to play a second practice round this week but I might wait until as close as possible to the 5th June. Would anyone like to join me ?

hi guys, played at worsley yesterday and the greens aren't much better than the comments i have read below. Ball spent more time airborne than rolling. sure it will be sorted in 2 weeks.

Some good points there Gareth but too many assumptions.....simple answers for me are - yes, they do make holing more putts easier - that's why they are being used more and more, when a 14 year old amateur makes the cut at Augusta and is using one it rather implies that his coach is telling him so......and when Mr Els wins an open outta the blue when he has confessed to putting being his problem???

Im looking to play a practise round one Wednesday . I haven't played the course before , play off 17 , is anyone interested in having a game one week ?

I'm sure you've all for received the email but Hanbuary are offering a practice next Wed/Thurs after 3 for £30 (or £25 for a fourball).

I am interested in playing Thursday afternoon, any else up for it?

Just got my clothes for event I know I'm a big lad but the xxl shirts are really small bit worried never gunna lose 4 stone in a month to fit into that lol

7&5 win in the doubles, and thru in the singles.

Play my first round singles this Thursday...gonna be tough - drawn against a mate from y own club so no home advantage there then!! He is playing well and I'm not so will be hoping for an inspired display - bit like Wigan v Man City!!!

Not long now lads, hopefully third time lucky for me. Just hope I leave the chocolate fire guard at home this year.

Won my first round Matchplay against Peter Gabriel ,tough conditions with the wind and rain,and both our game suffer"d a bit. Peter was great company and a really good golfer. Can't wait for next round,hopefully weather will be better :-)

Just got back from hollins hall today you must if you have not played it go just to plan your way round gents a lot of hidden hills which you don't see until you get to them most holes don't need driver as you will end up in trouble and if you are thinking of going wait a week or 2 because the greens are very poor I just hope that they get chance to sort them out but with only a month or so to go

So Hollins hall over a BH with plenty of sunshine and slight wind Course conditions - Tees - Need a bit of attention. Fairways - in good nick Rough - Grown so avoid Greens = Ropey to say the least. Have been treated so need to be looked after before the big event. Groundstaff have a job on their hands. Caddy - Hills are a struggle on certain green to tee holes so plenty of fluid needed haha Anyway - Sunday we played from the Yellows and I played like Mr Kipling but shot 30 points. Monday played from Whites and scored 31 with 2 blobs. Room for improvement and greens that roll properly and there will be some big scores. The sun shining down made a massive difference. Oh and the outfit has arrived - Dapper is all I can say, quality produce WH, quality!!

Played my first match on the weekend at home (Coed-y-Mwstwr, Wales) against Simeon Howells. Had a great game, went to 19 holes and went to work victorious afterwards!
