What is the Amateur Trilby Tour?
The Trilby Tour came about in 2007 after golf aficionado and Savile Row designer William Hunt's own love of the sport saw him come up with a unique competition whereby golfers could compete nationally in an extraordinary 'Winner-Takes-All' format.

The Trilby Tour was created to give players from all walks of life the chance of hitting the big time, played out in a televised national tournament. Amateurs from all over the world come together to compete in Pro conditions, under the pressures of an international televised event.

Where else would you get the chance to play in front of Sky TV cameras and be seen by millions of people on Sky Sports?

Who can play in the Amateur Trilby Tour?
The Amateur tournament is open to any golfer who holds a current handicap issued by a CONGU affiliated golf club. You must hold a handicap of 18 or better and must provide proof (handicap certificate that is no more than 14 days old) of your handicap on the day of your chosen tournament.

Is there an age limit to enter?
The only rule we have is that players are over 18 on the day of their chosen tournament (proof of age may be required). Last year's event we welcomed players from 18 to 72!

I'm a woman - can I compete?
At this moment in time the Trilby Tour is a male-only event but if there is enough demand in the future then we may reconsider.

I am based outside the UK can I enter?
We welcome anyone from around the world in the past we have had entrants from Dubai, South Africa, Czech Republic, Spain and Portugual.

The Trilby Tour is showing as FULL can I still enter?
The confirmed deposit is currently full – meaning we have enough entrants to fill the tournaments for 2012. Your current options are to pay a £50 refundable deposit for the waiting list or to pay a £50 non refundable deposit for the waiting list Plus. Please see sections ‘How does the waiting list work’ and ‘How does the waiting list PLUS work’.

How does the waiting list work?
The waiting list is complied of entrants who wish to play but do not have a guaranteed place, currently entrants who paid a confirmed deposit have 14 days priority on choosing dates and venues. On the 14th February if there are places still available those on the waiting list will be informed and then they will be able to choose if they wish to enter the tournament where there is space.

For those who joined the waiting list - your deposit is fully refundable should we not be able to offer you a place. Refunds will be made after the 2012 tournament has finished.

How does the waiting list PLUS work?
