With 41 bedrooms on site, 365 acres of fabulous Parkland estate, and the delights of the Murrayshall Golf Course, Murrayshall is very sure Scotland is ready for the Trilby Tour.

The Course
Measuring 6441 yards, the championship course lies on 365 acres of rolling parkland. The course was designed by Hamilton J. Stutt, the grandson of the great James Braid's chief foreman

Getting there
From Edinburgh

  • Follow signs for the A90/M90 Forth Road Bridge.  Toll 80p northbound only.
  • Follow M90 to Perth, then take A85 Dundee/Aberdeen.  Cross the Friarton Bridge over the River Tay and take exit immediately signposted after the bridge, A94 Coupar Angus road.
  • Follow the A94 to a set of Traffic Lights, go straight ahead.  Straight through the next set of lights.  At the 3rd set of lights the A94 bends to the right (still signposted Coupar Angus).
  • Follow this road for approx. 1 ½ miles.  You will see a sign for Murrayshall (a right turn).  If you arrive in New Scone you have come too far and should turn back.  Follow the turnoff for 1 ¾ miles.
  • The first entrance is the Hotel, or alternatively, the second entrance is to the Clubhouse and Golf Course.

 

From Glasgow

 Follow A80/A90 signs for Stirling, then A9 for Perth.

 From Aberdeen

Follow the A92 to Forfar then A94 to Coupar Angus, Burrelton then Balbeggie.

  • 1 mile past Balbeggie is a sign on the left for Murrayshall.  Follow road ½ mile to the next Murrayshall sign which is on the right.
  • After ½ mile you will arrive at the entrance to the Golf Course and Hotel.
